8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M.
Please arrive at the office no later than 4:15 PM with all required paperwork (including paper copy of insurance and current registration) to allow our staff time to process your transaction. For out of state transfers you must arrive before 4:00 PM to allow time for vehicle inspection by the Sheriff's office. If you arrive after these times or do not have all your paperwork needed you will be asked to return on the next business day to allow our staff sufficient time to process your transaction.
Election Information
Important Dates for 2022 Elections:
The deadline to file for the May Primary is January 7th, 2022 at 4:00PM. Non-Partisan elections such as City Council, Mayor and School Board are on the Ballot for the General Election in November 2022 and the deadline to file for those races is June 7th, 2022 at 4:00PM.
The deadline to register to vote in the primary or to change your address for voting is Monday April 18th by 4:00PM Eastern Time.

Voter Registration Details:

Voter registration can be updated / changed after the general election until the end of the year. Please contact the Clerk's office for more information.

Person who due to age, disability, or illness will be unable to go to the polls on election day.

Student who temporarily resides outside the county in which he is registered. Must be mailed to an out-of-county address.

Voter who temporarily resides outside the state but who is still eligible to vote in this state. Must be mail to an out-of-state address.

Person whose employment location requires him to be absent from the county all hours and all days absentee voting by machine is conducted.

Military personnel confined to a military base on election day.

To be eligible to register to vote, you must:
Be a citizen of the United States
Be 18 or older on or before the General Election
Not be a convicted felon. If you have been convicted of a felony, your civil rights must have been restored.
Not have been judged “mentally incompetent” in a court of law.
